Hi, i started this project a few days ago. I want to see if its possible to build a nice custom from an Edsel The first thing to do, was to remove the stock bumpers, and replace them with custom units from my parts box. Then i lengthened the edge around the taillights some. The taillights will also be tunneled. Then i cut of the stock roof, and replaced it with a 59 Skyliner roof, for a different look. More pics to come. Roger

Only thing I'da done, Roger, wuz keep the front part of the Edsel roof and add the Skyliner roof to it. The Skyliners always looked a little strange because of the shorter roofline, necessitated by the need ta fold up and fit in the trunk. A little bit longer roof woulda been just a tiny bit more pleasing. I like the bumpers, though... leaves a rolled pan look ta both ends.

I did some progress on this today. First, i did not like the heavy look on the lower part of the front (under the grill)so i shortened it some, and i think it looks better Second, i did not like the parts box bumper i planed to use, so i build new ones from evergreen (compare to the firs pic) Roger
