that's a nice looking build Ron! i hear these are hard to build nice, but you did it! Thanks Bob, yeah, multi piece body, Molds from the old IMC company, worn out by the time Testor's got them. Hard to get everything lined up, forget about the opening doors! I just glued 'em shut to try to make a one piece body.

Cool! Nice lookin hotrod! The engine detail is perfect.
I just picked up a 48 convertible so its nice to see something inspiring.

Great job building the Testors '48 ;D It takes skills to put together that awful soft & warping plastic with such a nice result

Ron, you are so correct about the mold for this kit, it progressively worse as it made it's way from IMC->to Globe->to Testors. It is indeed a bitch to build but it is one of my all time favorite kits. I have 2-3 from each company that released the coupe. It is cool to see someone build this bear of a kit.

Actually Bob the convertible is a whole lot easier to build then the coupe. I'm not sure why but it does seem to fit together better.
