Found this body at the Mid-Atlantic NNL in a box of junk parts and couldn't resist buying it.. Kustommerc was standing beside me, I look at him and said one word ;)_____Gasser.. So here's what i have gotten done so far. This is just the mock up and its now blown apart for paint. Only thing I'm having a hard time thinking of what color to paint it. Any suggestions?? Later

LOL.... sorry i am not trying to make a joke, but what is the vehicle? thanks The car is a mid '50s MG. Yeah, in the '70s alot of companies started making fibreglas bodies ta bolt ta VW pans. One wuz called a MiGi. I know a guy has one... looks like a classic MG... sounds like a sewing machine. I got nothin' against VWs... an MG just shouldn't sound like one.

This could be the perfect opportunity to parody the original as a racer. British racing green and the lettering and such, just with a gasser flare! Just my $0.02. Should be cool no matter how you do it!

Cool little MG!!!
There were actually several of them, running in the "Modified Sportscar" class in the sixties.
If you go to gassermadness.com and find the category "Modified Sportscars" there's a picture of one of them, called "Snarpeezel" near the bottom of the page.
Keep up the good work - You've really nailed the look!

Little update to the gasser.. Paint is on and I really like the color, it should look really good once I start to weather it. Going for the hardly wash, just for fun weekend racer look.. Paint is Kilz Golden Margarita.. And yes its a 53 MG TC Later Mike

a '53? wow, i guess there is still stuff for me to learn i like the way it's coming, are you going to weather it at all? I mean, in the wheel openings such as rock chips or what-not. keep up the good work!

This one just looks better and better - it's a really nice colour you've chosen, and the stance of the car is simply killer (Imagine trying to look over the grille of this little beast while flooring it down the 1320...)KOOOOOOL
