Here's my deuce coupe that I'm working on for the "Gathering of Outlaws." When flipped upside-down, the new Revell Merc door panels make some mighty nice '32 3 window tuck & roll door panels! Here's my paper template on the Merc piece: And here's the new panel. I cut it where the door opening would be because the Merc piece is dead flat and the deuce body has some curvature. This will help it all lay down better in there. Here they are with seats from a '25 roadster, console from the '55 Nomad and dash from the '37 Chev. After this photo was taken I fabbed a tuck & roll panel for the rear bulkhead behind the seats too. All that remains to be done is some more body work. Then it's color time!

Great work on the interior pieces. Clever idea using the Merc side panels. I always love your old school builds. Are you sure you aren't in your 60's?

Way to think outside the box. I've always admired builders who can do that. This deuce is shaping up pretty sweet!

Yeah, what everybody else said! Mostly I build kustoms, but this build has me all juiced up to build a rod. Keep 'em flyin', Matt! ;D

Matt, I gotta confess... this is the first time I've taken the time to check out the '32. Love the interior adaptation. It looks killer. Keep it up.

Well, I spent the last few weeks smoothing the body: Shaved the bodyside reveal molding, filled the cowl vent & headlight mounts, rescribed all needed panel lines, rebuilt that pain-in-the-ass reveal molding above the trunk, etc. Some white primer, wetsanding, then Mica Blue. There's an outside chance I may get this done for the New Year and the Gathering of Outlaws.
