okay, Bob said it would be okay, so here are some pics of my Volksrod! i started this project nearly 5 years ago, before i was really aware that such things really existed and that they were called Volksrod's. i cut the fenders off a perfectly good Tamiya Beetle kit and slammed the front. i was having some difficulties with the VW engine though and put it away. i found it in a box the other day and thought, i know how to fix the engine problem! a flathead Ford would look real nice hanging out the back! no idea where this is going, but it could get interesting Dave

WOW i love it, id go with a different wheel on the back if it was me, nothing wrong with keystones, i just dont think it fits the look, but thats just my opinion Id go with steelies or even doing the trick i seen hollywood jim fernandez do, making spun disk wheel covers by cutting the bottom of a soda can.

i don't think i'm going to change the rear wheels, but i may. i have some Moon discs for the front that are from Japan and fit the VW wheels like they were made for them. they have a little pin out of the back that fits the hole in the VW rim perfectly. maybe i'll have a chance to get some work done on this over the weekend.
