like i don't have enough going on already i mocked this thing up today. i bought this the other day in the hobby shop and tore into the box for a quick look at the goodies. i was impressed with what i found and after reading about the trunk insert problem i decided to fix mine and play around a bit with some wheel and tire combos. i know i'm not the only one that does this stuff! i never really liked those skirts on the 1:1 cars, but they are really nice and look really cool on the model. it looks awesome to me as a taildragger. this is the final stance it will have when i do get to actually painting and building this thing. hope you enjoy the pics! Dave

'58 s are nice lookin family cars, but they take good to customizing. This is all IMHO, of course, but I think those skirts are extremely gaudy. With Dave's talent, This will end up a great looking model.

no continental kit on this one. the skirts are gaudy, which maybe is why i like them. the hood is too flat, so i may add something to it so it's not so smooth. Dave

i put some paint on this thing earlier this evening, so it should be nice and dry by tomorrow. Testors Fathom green with a pearl white interior. i really like the chassis attachment with the screws, nice and sturdy and positive. makes mock-up a dream! Dave
