Has anyone put the Revell '40 frame under the AMT '40 coupe, sedan, or panel van? I plan on completely redoing the frame and suspension on this one since my first 'go-around' (like the interior) wasn't quite to my liking.

Glad to see YOU posting about a personal project again. Hope you can chip away at some progress. Need me to call and nag you once a week? LOL!!! Nagging won't work......free time and no distractions or pain might help! LOL! Having some buddy build companions might help urge me along too! LOL!

We are glad to see you working on personal stuff once again! Feels good to get something accomplished for personal pleasure, versus business pressure! Way to go Mr. Fluck, this is a step in the right direction if even for relaxation, (which we both know helps with our pain issues, gets your mind off of, "Oh ----- I'm hurting like ------ again.....).

Sorry to disappoint guys.......it's back in the box. I should have known better than to even think about building a model. I am simply too swamped with the business to even get a week off (the time I have taken off during the holidays was eaten up by family stuff, errands, problems to fix around the house, etc.); and now I am even further behind with orders. What little bit of spare time I had went up in smoke since I cannot force the clarity of mind, enthusiasm, or physical energy. I just feel tired all the time.

What little bit of spare time I had went up in smoke since I cannot force the clarity of mind, enthusiasm, or physical energy. I just feel tired all the time. I get it, with a bum back, there are times that it won't allow me to sit, I actually now have two benches in my model room because of that. First one sits at standard desk height with a small roll around office desk chair, think steno chair. the other one sits at Standard Cabinet height, that's what it sits on some extra kitchen base cabinets. I find that the sit and stand situation helps my productivity, helps when I can't sit and gets me working on the bench(s) again. Some times for me at least, it's just being able to put in five or fifteen minutes to an hour to clear my mind and relax after working right next door at my office desk less than five feet away from my workbench. There are times that I have spent so much time in the still working from home mode that I just don't want to see that room or anything in it for the rest of the evening! So I get it on all accounts, I get the being busier than a one legged guy at a square dance where you're doing essentially the exact same exacting work all day/night long. Guess my longish point is, you have to find it as a hobby again, right now it's work, building a model is an extension of your already busy, hectic work day... Hopefully you can find some time in the future where this becomes a relaxing hobby once again, where it again becomes a thing you are doing because you love cars, big or small!! Go Get'em Tiger!! Rah, Rah,,, (In a cheerleader sorta voice,,, but not short skirt or shorts, I don't have the legs for that and nope I ain't shaving them for nothing!! LoL!! So stop thinkin' about collecting stamps...)

Add in the fact that I start rationalizing selling it all off since I haven't been able to enjoy what I've collected over the past 5-6 years to build......and it's only tying up my money.
