Man that interior detail is awesome. I'm sure that you know to make the changes to the exterior, like adding the 2 other chrome strips to the hood and moving the wipers to above the windshield. If this thing turns out like I think it will, it'll be a great model. Keep us posted.

Thanks guys! Since sales have been slow to non existant, I've been able to get a little building done. I'm going with the rectangular door panel inserts instead of the 's' shaped ones. The piping sits in the groove a little more then it looked in the pics because it's taped on. I will be adding the trim to the hood; and actually remaking the entire windshield frame since it's shaped wrong. Plus, this is the only way I'll be able to make the garnish molding for the inside of the windshield. Right now, I'm leaning towards stuffing a pair of '64 Thunderbird bucket seats in it; but nothing's definite! Lol! I also have to make the running board supports that attach to the frame rails. At this time, I also plan on painting it Duplicolor Pontiac engine light metallic blue. The interior will be white and blue. I haven't gotten any work done to it in the last two days.......hopefully, I'll be able to wrap the interior work up by the end of the week......Ed

That '40 is awesome!!!!!! I've already been fighting the urge to swap the Americans out for Halibrands; and ditch the white walls......you're not making it easy for me! Lol!

LOL! I've already got these last two pics......they didn't do it enough for me. Thanks for the compliments on the stance. That, and the wheel/tire combo is always the most important detail for me. If it sat low in the front, it wouldn't have the same correct look. BTW, do you have any color pics of the first '40 you posted above? I'm really dig'n that one. The only reason I didn't change directions earlier on was because you wouldn't be able to see the interior detail if I painted in black.

I used the kit chassis. I just opened up the rails by removing the floor pan. Then, I didn't like the cross member that was still in it because it left no room for the Hydro. So, I cut that out too. Then, as you can see, I scratch built the floor pan and braces. The front axle assy. is your typical Revell '29-'31 Model "A" pickup/sedan/roadster pickup piece. All of those kits have these axles, as well as a dropped axle. The wheels and tires are from Modelhaus......Ed
