This one is inspired by Matt Trotta's sectioned and channeled '32 3 window. I've had this Rep+Min of Md SD body floating around my stash for awhile. I beleive it was mastered by our own Lyle Wilits. I'm thinking it'll probably have the hemi out of the AMT 53 Ford pickup, possibly with the crossover FI from the Boss Nova kit. Not sure yet. the ride hight is right where it will be since I already modified the the frame and suspension. Usually i mock up stuff super low because it has no suspension installed and it ends up riding higher because I wait until late in the project to modify the suspensions. Since I'm building it around this stance it should stay this way.

YEEAAAAAAH! That is too kool, Craig. I think a nice section and channel puts these '32s right down where they should be. Definitely work around that mock-up to make the stance happen - it's right-on!

Tom, for $20.00 you MIGHT get a wink nowadays LOL. Well, according to Earl, one legged daytime hookers can be had pretty cheap. But I digress... Anyway, I do like the white idea. I'm thinking a traditional yet different color scheme(does that make sense?) Meaning: black with red wheels is traditional, black with tan wheels is traditional, yet different. What I'm really thinking about doing is going with a vintage light commercial color(tan, white, green) and weathering it up a bit, and then hot rodding it out.

Well, I'm glad I waited to get my revell sedan before deciding on an engine for this project. i took the new flattie crossmember, glued it to the frame, took most of the flattie engine and glued it up, but for a different look I took the beautiful stock covers from the AMT '34 Ford. I will probably use the three carb intake for simplicities sake, but perhaps block off two of the intake holes and use one carb. Would that be realistic? If not I may just try to find a compatible one or 2 carb intake. Anyway, still working on a color for this one, but I'm thinking gray. Now that I have the engine figured out I can get this one rolling again

yep Craig, i do believe the single carb would be realistic. sounds like you've got this all figured out and your ideas sound great.

Alright, finally chose a color combo for this. It's Testors Diamond Dust with one coat clear. The wheels and engine are tamiya dark gunmetal. To me it's missing something. it's too monochromatic. I will be painting the top insert and running boards white. I don't know, I like the colors, but it kinda feels like I'm looking at a black and white photo . Maybe some subtle scallops or flames? Or maybe a red interior? I feel it needs something.
