I finally got the chassis buttoned up and set the stance like I wanted it. You can't get a deuce lower than this! The wheelbase and track stayed where they should be, the tires are rubbing the tops of the fenders (if anybody ask, its airbags!) so I guess all my measurements worked out. Heres a simple pic of the chassis. I just need to add some rear shocks/coilovers to complete it. Gold'n Deuce also gets a little bit of claustrophobia! I had to narrow the belts to fit between the fenders and finesse the water pump so the fan belt/ pulleys could scoot back a hair. Believe it or not, the bottom pulley doesn't touch the crossmember. If I use a fan, I'll have to do some serious cutting on it to fit. I figure its mostly hidden and most wouldn't notice (which means everyone will ask me why the fan blades got cut off!) Hope ya like... Comments always welcome!

Coming along nice. If you can have imaginary airbags, you can also have an imaginary cooling fan behind the grill shell, or as some have modeled, a radiator setup in the trunk.

Steve, i really LIKE this build because it isn't cluttered. it's very clean and simple. the Inca Gold REALLY suits this coupe also.
