Heres one for ya a chopped and sectioned 53 ford pick-up the body is sectioned 4 inches and the top is chopped 3 inches and of course the hood has been sectioned also dont know what im gonna do with the bed yet but im still cuttin let me know what you all think ? Bud Ellis Kustoms

AGREED!!!! I always kinda wondered what one of these would look like with a "rounded" bed. Would certainly fit the overall "roundy" feel of the build. The section looks gorgeous!

Thanks alot guys ,,, I cut me up a bed for my kustom pickem-up chopped and narrowed bed from a dodge deora truck I still have lots of putty work to do yet Bud Ellis kustoms

the MORE that i look at this build, the BETTER i LIKE IT !!! the Deora bed makes the design look very BAD ASS !!! i'm LOVIN this !!!

PERFECT!!!!! That bed does EXACTLY what I suggested by going with the "roundy" look to the whole build. I have one of them Deora's. Never thought of using it for parts, though! Hmmm, straight axle, Nice little motor, could use the cab for.......

Honestly, HRTom, I think about the only thing the Deora is good for is parts. While I think the 1:1 truck was kool, I've never thought of it as much for modelling. The roof was the perfect piece for converting my '60 Starliner to a wagon a few years ago. Now, your comment about the cab has my mind searching for another use for the spare body I have. Hmmmmm.
