1960 Chevy Pickup, going to be hauling the 55 Chevy Gasser I need to get back to... Haven't decided on a color yet but think I'll go with these mags. Kit was missing one tire, so going to use the tires from the 66 Nova for the front and kit tires for the back. Charles

I hope so Duane. When I had primered it, there was what looked like a pooling of primer on the roof...no biggie, I'll sand it. Damn, turned out the roof was partially warped, no biggie, I'll putty it. Damn, the end of the tube of putty split, putty friggin' everywhere. 20 minutes later, scraping putty out of everywhere, reputtied, ready to sand and finish primering tomorrow.

My grandpa had one of these that he put a 409 in back in the day. Old trucks are cool. Keep up the good work.

I have painted this damned thing three times and each time it has gone back into the purple lake, the last time in the lake was Friday night...it was too cold and the paint crazed like crazy. Also found some areas I need to re-putty, so I bought putty today.
I am leaning to a metallic green for the body, "Drag News" decal in the back window and some weathering, rusing of the bed...maybe a balsa wood "plywood" to go over the bottom of the bed. It will have a tranny, a couple tool boxes, slicks in the back as well as towing a 55 gasser which I just bought some rod to finish the chassis with.
Keep your eyes open the next week or so.
