as you've noticed, HotRodTom is doing a how-to on a pair of '49 Ford Coupes. The Twins are mine, and i asked Tom if he would want to take on the challenge of the bodywork. he agreed and set the terms, which to me are very reasonable so, i shipped The Twins to him. i included about 1/2-2/3 of a page of my ideas but said that i wanted him to have a free hand to do anything he desired because, i've never done any body mods because i flat don't know how !!! i knew that he'd know much more about what he could and wanted to do than i did. he asked if i cared if he did tutorials using the Twins and i said go for it. i saw his work before he posted it for everyone here to see and, i couldn't believe the transformation !!! the MORE i looked(and believe me, i've looked a gazillion times a day)the MORE i liked what i saw !!!!
GMC Kid mentioned in a post here to send them to him, he'd cut them up then, send them back. when he said this, Tom said something in praise of his idea, that made me know that i needed to ask Tom if he'd undergo this endeavor. Ol'Skool offered also but the shipping would have been way more than i can afford(i know, cop-out)however, i DO APPRECIATE the offers guys !!!
Tom has suggested many ideas that i was going to put on my list before he suggested them. i didn't though because i though my list was large enough as it was without giving Tom MORE work. he did say something to me that made me happy, he said, i'm getting stoked to do this.
i don't know how many tutorials Tom has planned but, as far as i'm concerned, he can do one for each modification he performs. as i've said countless times, thank you Tom !!! i appreciate you more than you know and, thank you for doing this Kustomizing for me.
