I love this kit, but a stock-bodied '32 sedan just looks WAAAAAYY too tall, IMHO. So, I sectioned this one 4.75 scale inches, by cutting off the bottom and moving the bottom reveal line up. Next, it needed a very subtle (1.5 scale inch) chop, and then I z'd the snot outta the frame, both front and back. The rolling stock is the chromies from the Revell Merc, with wide whites from a Monogram '57 Vette. Not sure if it's gonna get a Hemi with lotsa carbs or the Caddy engine from the Revell Merc...

But... I can still see daylight under the body! Kidding... thats pretty extreme! Use the Merc's Caddy engine!

I really like how radical this is yet its not too radical to look stupid. Very restrained..the chop is perfect.

I like those body mods. I always went with, "If I chop the top, people are dam going to know it's been chopped !!" This looks great!

Oh boy, here's Randy with another sectioned project. I beleive you have Sectionitis. Good thing is it's not a bad disease to have. Looking forward to more on this one. Make sure you bring it next weekend!

I would like to see how your frame is done. I am trying to get some ideas for my truck.

Oh yeah - fink's doin a hot rod! I like the new proportions, Randy. There's one like this in '50 Years of Rod & Custom' - with fenders that is chopped 3" and sectioned 4".
