You are welcome. I think I am going to have to get one of these kits. I got a few ideas for one--then again, do I really need another project?

Not every thing with wire wheels is a lowrider. Saw green Merc custom, some where recently, can't spell, don't know how I made it though english classes, but I think the wires were old Appliances, or Truspokes, don't think they were Buick. We all know what a lowrider looks like. Don't we? Lets give a break to customs wth wires, they all did't have hubcaps oe chromies. Like Dick Dean once said, I've done more chopped Mercs in the 70's than I did in 50's & 60's.

this is in the early mock up stage. as you can tell, the front end isn't even finished yet. ooohh, and one more thing LOL, i didn't ask anyone how to lower it, i did it myself. i know this isn't any big deal to you guys but, i'm kinda proud of myself because i just studied everything and knew how and where to cut to lower it. i have some spinners ordered but haven't got em yet. 1 question that i have, the fenderskirts aren't mounting the way they're supposed to(flush)should i cut the little ears off and mount the skirts? i realize that i could scrape a little plastic out and make a little slot for the ears to fit in but, i don't wanna lose any plastic, so ideas are welcome.

That is pretty awesome so far Duane! You gotta make sure this thing is a belly dragger, not just a 'tail' dragger. Your call though. Can't wait to see where you go next!

well Outlaw, i'm gonna use the dropped spindles but i wanna tack the inner fender panels in and see if they need cut and drop the whole car.
PF, i would send it, but i got plans for it too.
Dub, i thought about suicide'n the doors but since i don't have all the stuff i need for the hinges and i've never tried that, i think i'd better stay away from it. it's gonna be draggin it's belly because that's the idea i was shootin for in the first place. it's also gonna have '53 Buick headlights a '57 Vette grille, and '57 Chrysler tailights mounted horizontally in the panel just below the trunk(i'm gonna attempt to tunnel these). i'm also thinkin a T&R interior with 0.20 1/2 round. i know it's customary to use larger diameter but i figure if i use what i got, it'll help me develop more patience and the ability to do finer work than i'm used to doing. i'm also thinkin of splittin the backseat and runnin a console all the way back but, if i do, it won't be that easy to neck. Bud suggested a Candy Green paint so i think it'll have a matching interior.
thanks for the comments guys. all are welcome and they have me thinkin.
