i'm gonna cheat a bit guys. i put the rear shocks in and they were holdin the rear axle so high that the springs wouldn't even touch the frame. they're stayin off. it almost looks like it could be a posible frontend. it looks like i'm to trap the spindles between the upper and lower 'A' frame. i'm to glue the tierod ass.to the upper 'A' frame. i guess that means it ain't posible, damn IT !!!
Tom, thank you also for the compliments my friend.

well, it's update time. i was workin on the rearend two days ago., i picked the frame up to turn it 180 degrees and, all the lower front frame came apart in separate pieces and fell on the bench. the only things that stayed put were the springs. i'm letting it sit while I cool off lol. yeah, i'm pissed but, i haven't destroyed it lol.
yesterday afternoon, i started putting the rearend in. i picked it up and it came apart in my hand DAMN IT !!! i'll be back on it soon.

Ohh, you aren't alone in that today, my friend. I was working on the belts and pulleys for the Y-block on my 31 Tudor and they fought me the whole way. I tell you, I must have broke the glue joints at least five focking times! It's enough to piss off the Good Humor man sometimes.....

the Good Humor man comes to YOUR place? lol. i use a needle in the eraser of a pencil to apply my glue and i'm being very careful of the amount that i use. i thought i had it nailed then, that happened. never fear though cause i ain't lettin that get me down.
i haven't posted any progress shots cause i'm still designin in my head. i have a few ideas but, i'm the kinda guy that i have to think EVERYTHING through before i do anything. i'll have some shots soon.

I usually get whatever is cheapest at Wally mart. Occasionally, I get 6 tubes for a buck!!!! Otherwise, I hit the $1 shop, or El Cheapo Especial, or whatever the other names are, and look for whatever they have. I stay away from the gel-glues. I don't care much for them, as they have different "set" times. I get my BEST results, though, with Tenax or Ambroid (when you can find it!!!!), so I run out of it pretty often. I have (in the past) taken to making my own form of welding compund, but due to the dangerous nature of the chemicals, I won't pass on the recipe. BUT, I can tell you that the basic formula gets you CHLOROFORM (dihydrochloromethane, I think is the proper name) Sure stinks when it's cooking!!! NO, you can't sell it like crack, either!!!!
