well i actually started this one before Roger started his one... used the custom headlights from the 63 Ford kit but never liked what way the build was leaning towards...actually i think it looked like shit! so after picking it up and down the box for several times i decided to redo the whole front end, and make the headlights "stand" instead of "lay"... dont know...i think i´m on the right direction with this one now but i need sugestions and ideas ...does this thing work or not? maybe a thin bumper or bumperettes instead of the stock one that i think make the front look to heavy.... soo...feel free to come up with sugesstions! the old front treatment that i didnt like... cut the fenders lenghtwise and made them more thin... made some filler pieces of plastic-card and widened the hood to fit the new opening... and this is how it look like now at its latest mockup... so this is where i am right now...

Oh yes, it works much better like this ! those goofy headlites don't work on a 63 ford either ... any scale ! the real thing was a joke for me !

I like the second version HD ! what are you going to do to the rear, any Ideas? GeorgeC thanx everyone! as i have been thinking and looking more to this one i do feel that i´m on the right track with it.... for the rear there will not be so many changes...just tunneling of the rear lights simular to Rogers Edsel...and maybe some thin bumpers. i think this one will also have looong cruiser skirts just to make it look like it´s really down on the ground and they do make the car look longer ... now i just have to find some neat bumpers!!!

the first look wasn't bad...had a good 60's vibe to it...but man that second look is way cooler. I never thought Edsels could be made to look so good!
Keep up the great work

i really didn't like the first look cause the rings and bumpers made your Edsel look nose-heavy. now, this SECOND LOOK, damn AGAIN Son !!!! it's REALLY phukkin COOOL !!!! i have an idea for the rear too but it's your build and i don't know if you want to do it.
why not tunnel two sets of stock tailights in?

looks way better than it did before. For the front it either needs a thin bumper or thin bumperettes. The ones that were on in the first picture are to thick.

Restyle much better! I don't know what those designers were thinking with those headlight buckets. I don't even think they'd look good on a big rig....
