nice build ups! i like the style, they remind me of the original customs built back in the 1960's.

Nope. it's a widened AMT ´53 Studebaker top. Also, the red '50 Ford was rebuilt into the blue '50 convertible! Don't ask me why thou...LOL!

That is great work! Flathead on the orange PU truck looks interesting. You have a good photo of how you did the intake?

Geezerman, here's a picture for You. Unfortunately my camera didn't allow me to take a better pic of the intake I used a stock intake and mounted a compressor on top, then did some intake tubes for the 4 carbs using Evergreen material.

Chromecop, did you save any of the pictures from your builds ? i'd like to see a tutorial on how you sectioned your '49 Fords. it doesn't look like you've disturbed the wheelwell openings in any way and, you have me curious. Duane

Sorry Duane, at the time I (first) built the '50 Ford digital cameras still hadn't been invented! It was sectioned about 2,5 scale inches ABOVE the rear wheelopening. The front wheelopening has been enlarged. In the rear it was cut below the lower trunk-line and in front below the grille-opening.

ok, thanks. i got an idea how i want to section my '49 and i'm thinkin about "Z" cuts around all wheelwells and straight from front to rear just above the bodyline. hhmm, i wonder if that'll work? i've got 10mm masking tape and am thinking about sectioning the width of it. i suck at math, so i don't know what the conversion would be(scale inches). 10 mm would be very close to 10" in scale. However, IMHO 10" would be quite much and probably it'd look better if You took away about 4-5" in scale (i.e half the width of your tape)
