Jeez, I don't know what kit the 12 spokes are from. I pulled them from my parts box. But if they come in a new falcon gasser, I may need to find that one! I'm on a gasser kick right now. Buildin a 55 chevy and a 59 el camino Gasser. Lookin for ways to build my front straight axle.

awe man there is a guy on ebay sellin these really cool high rise front springs for the henry j kit. man they would put the nose of anything way up in the clouds im building AMT's 41 willys pu into a killer gasser and im thinking of going that route to get mine up there ...and off several lists that guy has gotten slammed, poor quality, poor customer service. Never dealt with him myself, so I don't know...but a friend of mine had gotten burnt as well, had a master stolen and claimed to be the guy's work. Anyway, working on a 55 gasser myself circa 1967 and the advice I had gotten was the straight axle outta the AMT 55 Nomad kit, drilling the holes in the axle but it is pretty good...I also have the straight axle from a repop of the 57 Chevy from Revell and it is kinda simple but okay. The axle from the Deora kit is good and can be used as well with leaf springs. I'm also thinking the truck axle from the 37 Ford pickup with arched springs... Charles

Great looking rod, Flatheads51. Nice brushwork on that trunk lid. Always on the lookout for a good macro brush. Are you using anything special?

That thing is killer! And the decklid art is great.
I think those front wheels can also be found in the re-issued AMT Piranha kit.

THanks for all the comments. Its one of my favorite builds. I went looking in my 56 victoria box for those rims but didn't see them....then I remembered I built them and dropped them in my 55 chevy box. I also have the 55 nomad. Of all parts to lose.... The straight axle! I am always lookin for another nomad kit to buy but they seem harder to find these days.
Geezerman... I think its a "00" brush from the local hobby shop. Not sure of the brand. I may have trimmed a few hairs.
