I won this kit at the NSRA Nats in Tampa last weekend. Heavy butchery has already been initiated. (See that 29 RPU fender assy?) I may be able to keep this TRaKable, but I want to use the engine that came with it. It's a BIG blown Ford with twin cams in the heads. Legal? There will be no hood to hide it, but I may still have my paper sack.

OK. I thought I read somewhere that it was a 5 hundred c.i. engine. But I can't find it printed anywhere in the instructions or on the box.

Nope, that's a Ford 427 SOHC "Cammer" engine - indeed an unusual engine in a rod, but throughout '66 and '67 it powered the "World's fastest Willys" to numerous victories in the AA/GS ranks (This kit actually started as a replica of Ohio George's Willys - Only thing canged to this date is the tires...)
