Not really my build, but a rescue by me and my buddies of an origonal 60's era kustom. This thing was pretty tattered when I found it, but it had some signs of being really old work. Balsa floors, thread spark plug wires, etc...
I cleaned up the body work, rebuilt the grill and did final assembly. My buddy Andy cleaned and refurbished the interior. Another guy, Miguel, shot the paint, matched to the origonal color. Greg rebuilt the chassis and engine, but left the origonal thread wiring.
I had to re-create the right side trunk molding, since it was gone completely.
We put it back together with solid supports to pose everything open.
When it was done, we donated it to the museum in Salt Lake City, since its a peice of history.
