I picked up this original early '60s issue duece coupe (the purple car) on ebay and completely dissasembled what was left of it. The chassis, wheels/tires and radiator shell became the base for the '27 T coupe, which was done with a resin body which I chopped. It's powered by a Buick nailhead with 6 pots and has a real white cloth pleated seat, '32 dash and '56(?) Ford steering wheel. The purple body was chopped and went on to a new duece chassis and runs a Olds Rocket 324 with Cragar intake and 4 carbs. I didn't take a pic underneath but the headers Y-off to full single exhaust out the back. The original interior went along with the body and was redone from blue metallic to maroon and cream with a custom racing dashboard. Also features a '32 Phaeton windshield. The original purple duece mill (6 carb 283) and Moon wheel covers are waiting to go into another rod.
