Well here it is. Only 1 or 2 small items need to be scratchbuilt and then it's ready for paint. The fender brackets are thin brass, the exhaust is solder and the nerf bars are k&s tubing. The plastic mounts still need some fine tuning. Here's the scatter shield. It needs a bit of clean up before paint. The top of the transmission is hacked up to provide clearance for the floor. It's totally invisible when the body is on. The mufflers came from the Revell '40 Standard coupe.

The frame, ladder bars, front/rear suspensions are painted as well as the engine and headers. A lot of other parts are in primer now. The front axle is drilled, just like the real car. 16 holes, 8 on each side. Yes, I counted them. I'll show pics later.

It's been too long since the last update! I'm going to start working on this again. Here's the update that I promised back in June. I also did some alclad work shortly after that last post on June 22nd. The brakes still need to be painted black. I cut up 2 american racing wheels from a Revell '32 Ford to widen the Rader wheels. The ultra rare Man-A-Fre intake is shown in the bottom right corner. I had to scratchbuild two of those before I got it right!

It's really cool to finally see an update, Aaron. Everything is looking really good. Those ladder bars turned out awesome!
You are definately doing the 1:1 car justice!

Chrome stacks. Yes that is THE Man-A-Fre from the real car and will be reused in the restoration, bolted to the same 327 block and heads the car had in the '60's! The two copper lines going to the base of each carb were part of a home made fuel injection system. Keep watching, it's gonna be good!
