I just re-read the rules, and I think this qualifies. 40 Ford coupe with the whole front clip off of the 41 Plymouth including the OHV V-8. Built probably 7/8 years ago.

Era wise, everythings legal. I didn't know if I was opening up a can of worms by showing an old roundy round. Bob may not care for it

as long as ya called it a "jalopy" i guess it passes ;D looks cool, IMHO would be better with steel wheels , but i am no expert on these DT racers.

my uncle drove in the Jalopy races in 1954 in a car identical to this Clay. his car was dark green and his number was 9. your build looks exactly like his car. the races were every Sat. night at the old Fair Grounds where i grew up. i was only 4 but, i loved em. you've brought back many memories with this build, thank you.
