I would almost call it a Pan-Am car! Looks about right for that time period, weathering is right, car is right (read BIG OLD BOAT!) Yeah, it's a Pan-Am car from '63 run by a local boy out of Barstow, California that had to have an engine change before crossing the border back into the states!
It gets almost easy to editorialise something into existance, or "write your own history" as it were. This looks like it was fun to do, and it still (kinda) fits the theme.
