Here is the reason I got into building model cars. My dad built this car in the early seventies. I broke it when I was young cuz I was playing with it so much. When I got older I restored it to how my dad originally built it. I thought the paint was the coolest! He told me it was an experimental paint job. I still have not been able to make an interior that looks as good as this one.

nice one to still have around. anything i had like this as a kid got destroyed, i wish i still had alot of that old stuff! i'd put it in a display case and display it proudly. Dave

Here is the only other survivor from his builds. I wrecked a bunch of others. I wish I didn't wreck his 49 merc! It was the best!
