Here is my ´53 Ford with a carson top. The body and the carson top is resin cast from a NN manufactor. I bought a lot on a online auction and it was in a condition that could have been better. The top windshield frame was broken and desperately needed to be fixed. I used the Lindberg ´53 Ford Victoria as a donor kit to the chassis, windshield, and dashboard. The paint is Modelmaster Dusty Rose red on top off a silver base and topped off with numerous layers of clear laquer. The front grille is from the parts box and styrene rods. The front lights are Lucas triplex look alikes from the parts box aswell. At first the paint turned out to be one big mess and I was about to give up. then i gave it a treatment with LMG polish kit and now it glansing as it should be from the start. The interior is a mix of the Lindberg kit and scrathbuilt Tucn Roll made out off styrene sheets. This was a fun build to do and it is not the last time i will do a ´53 Ford.

Beautiful job on the interior...laughing, where the steering wheel sits, I wouldn't want to try driving it though...I agree with Bob, one helluva grille.

Charles Hi Charles Yes you are right the steering wheel sits very narrow to the seat. But it was kind of a neseserely because it sat right in the dashboard, firewall and the angle was just right. And then it came out like this.
