what made you think of doing this theme? very kool in my book i have re-typed what i said a couple times.... i just can't get over how cool this car is! being the idea of an army vehicle turned into a hot rod? awesome! the artilary shell air cleaner is definately a nice touch, it took me a few times to realize it was a bullet shell

Trust me It did'nt start out being a theme rod ,I think it was because I was watching some American Chopper episodes at the time (I was building a 1/12 chopper)and thought if you can build a theme bike why not a theme car + I had a can of tamiya Olive Drab on my bench for some reason and thats how it all started!I sort of based it that maybe a young guy found it somewhere as a stock 29 pickup that was ex Army and already painted in the current scheme ,took it home put it in his garage and basicly built himself something Kool out of all the bits ,hence why I kept it a 4 cylinder and left the body unchopped. The aircleaner I made on my lathe and gets noticed a lot when It's on display at shows, kind of the finishing touch that really sets the whole thing off.

Very creative...this is the kind of stuff that jumps out at you and brings a smile to your face. I love it. Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "Rat Patrol " !

That is my kind of military build! Very clever on the air cleaner, your right, it does just set the model off.
