This one is a couple of years old so you may have seen it before. If not, then peruse! (I think thats a word). MCW resin body, Ross Gibson Hemi, a lot of scratch built and PE stuff. The Sox & Martin team were well known for their clean operation and winning ways. Ronnie really did not like Funny Cars. This was their final AWB car. Injected on nitro! They went back to Super Stock in 1967. Used an old issue of Super Stock magazine for reference pics. Super Stock was a damn good mag back in the day! WF

Walt, THIS is an AWESOME build my friend !!! yes, i HAVE seen this before AND, i STILL like the looks of it.
i didn't think Sox & Martin drove Funnies very long and you confirmed it. i used to read Super Stock also, great articles.
i'd like to see The Ramchargers '64 Dodges driven by Jimmie Johnson and Jimmy Nix built. i always thought they were the most awesome cars ever built.

I think that cars you are referring to were called the "Dodge Chargers". Here is a link that you mighjt want to check out: www.moparmax.com/features/2006/ii_1-wallace-1.htmlGood story on the Nix and Johnson driven cars. WF

yep Walt !!! that's the cars !!! they're what got me into buildin and just cars in general. i bought a mag in '64 and opened it and there they were !!! i love the style, and the look and the performance of them. from the very first second that i saw them, i was in love, AND i'm STILL AM in love with those 2 cars !!! i wish some company would produce them EXACTLY the way they were. if i could find the exact pieces, i'd love to try to build them. you wouldn't happen to know where i could find all the pieces to build them, would you? thank you my friend for the link, i've saved it.
