I hope this is ok. Here's a few quick shots of an old Pan Head I modified a little with an exacto knife, JB Weld and a few odds & ends. Please excuse the poor quality of the photo...this is actually the first few shots with my new camera....and the poor quality of modifications....I think I did it in like 10 minutes while waiting for dinner to cook or something. Anyhow, as you'll see I JB Welded some Ape Hangers to it. I had them laying around & I really don't know where they came from. I also lowered the rear, trimmed down the seat, lost the front fender and windshield as well as cleaned up the foot controls a little and made a jockey shift from that dice shifter in the AMT 40 Ford kits. And for the sake of comparison....a kind of stock one...although I still had to loose the windshield. Never do like those things on bikes.

Sweet! It fits! It's kool! BUT (hee hee) it looks like your gonna be shifting you accessory cover. It's all good, tho. These bikes had kind of a "top-loader" tranny, which is right behind that "hubcap" lookin' thingy on the primary cover. The look is RIGHT-ON! I hope you don't think I'm pickin' on ya'! I LOVE to see bikes on here! More, please!

Thanks folks! Oh! No worries Tom, I've got a pretty thick e-skin....the HAMB gave it to me! Actually, the shifter does make it all the way down to the tranny....but the quick & easy way to get it to stay was to glue it to the side of that cover! Cheating? Maaayyyyyyybe!

cool lookin bikes. I can't tell from the pics, Is that 1/18 or 1/24? Flathead, its some cheap-o 1/18 deal from Maisto or something? They put out a whole ton of motorcycle models that you can usually pick up for like $3.50.

I still haven't quite got the hang of sizing pictures with the camera (as in before I take them) so these might be huge. Here's a differnet bike in the same parking space. Its that old Lindberg Triumph Tiger that Revell re issued not long ago. (this is the Lindberg) I did change a few things & left some stuff out. The rear fender is the stock front, I trimmed down the seat, left out the head light nacelle (sp?) & I dunno...some other stuff I can't remember right now. Oh! To keep the "bobber" kids happy the tail light is from AMT's 29 model A kit. ;D I WILL get better with this camera, I swear.

Cool. I still want to get a Vincent model and make a Bobber out of it.

I like those 1'24 scale bikes, diecast, kinda hard to find around here, used to find them at wallyworld for just over 2 bucks. I'm still looking for the Revell chopper, anyone got one for sale?

One of my projected builds for 2008 is to do my '58 3TA triumph in 1/12th scale. I already have the perfect 1:1 for reference measurements, I just gotta DO IT! I am diggin that Tiger!

YEAH! That triumph rocks! Lindberg huh? was it a kit? I got 2 of the Maisto triumphs. One is stripped down to the motor ready for a chop and I am keeping the other one stock.
I got a bunch of the 1/18 bikes. I got one of the 1/24 bikes. Its a panhead I converted into a digger style bobber. I'll post pics later. I also got a bunch of 1/32 indian motorcycles that I found at a dollar store. They are already super cool looking. I'll post them too.
