I built this one four years ago, using the "Rat Rod" re-release of the old Tweedy Pie kit. I channeled the body over the frame and used the tube axle option to get the nose way down. The hood is from an AMT '27 T Touring with holes drilled to clear the aluminum stax. When I "finished it" back in '03 it didn't have gauges, a windshield or a floor. I just updated it this week for its trip to NNL East in April for the Model T theme class. I added the Howards Cams door decals to gussy things up. Still no gauges though... 2004 version: Currently: For the floorboard, I cut a .010 styrene piece to go around the pedals & transmission. Then I covered it with K&S coarse-grit, charcoal-colored sandpaper. It looks a lot like scale carpet! Thanks for lQQkin!

i like EVERYTHING about your build Matt, of all things tho, what REALLY drew me to your build is the WHITE paint work !!!! almost every "T" i've ever seen has ALWAYS been a dark color. your paint DRAWS ATTENTION to the details and THAT'S really COOOL !!!

I have wanted that reissue and still haven't had a chance to get my hands on one yet. I love how you built this, the decal in the center of the door gives it a very late fifties look to it. Great, clean build, now go get some gauges dammit...

Very cool! I like it both ways but the second is better. Good luck at NNL. Maybe I'll be there to see it!
