the intake manifold on the sbc looks to be too new. i do believe there was a high-rise in the '50s-'60s, but i want to be sure. if too new, i'll use the tri-power setup from the Caddy in the '49 Ford kit. the valve covers will also come from the Caddy. it seems there were inscripted Edelbrock covers then, but these look like shit. i know the fan belt and alternator(eeeeeewwww)are, so they'll be junked.

I know that dual-plane hi-rise aluminum manifolds were popular throughout the '60s ; the multi-carb manifolds just had more flash! I would say that the kit manifold is TRAKable, but no billet air cleaners! (actually, there was quite a variety of different shaped and styled air cleaners available thru the aftermarket at the time)

thank you Rich !!!! i'm sure the Dodge Chargers race team had hi-rise manifolds on their '64 Dodge 330s.
i just wasn't sure about the one from the '34 because it looks too new.

I would think it's TRAKable to the best of my knowledge, though I'm no expert on these.
even if it's not then it's not the most obvious part of the car so you could probably get away with it.

I am sure it's ok....besides it's not the intake that I look at when I slobber all over cool models.
