Guys, I haven't been working on this on almost a year. It's all buffed out now and super shiny but it's just not talking to me. I think next weekend I'm gonna add some darker blue and maybe some white pearl in the appropriate areas and re-clear it. I have a vision in my head of what I want and it's just not there yet, I guess that's why I haven't been back at it. Like it says in my tag ,, "The doctor said I had to share the visions when I have them ,, then the healing can start." We'll be here when your vision is complete Steve! Looking forward to seeing the revisions and thanks for checking in.

That car will look awesome when finished!! And I'm just loving it so far, that's for sure! I did a paint test with 2 color blend that I have wanted to put on a build for a while now. David S.

Been working on the interior.I ground the seat inserts out with my Dremmel and cut the inserts from the door panels with the back of my X-acto and a razor saw. The new pleated inserts are 1/2 round rod glued to thin sheet stock. I'll also be putting a new floor in that's a bit deeper than how the part was cast.

Oof. That's a ton of work! It's going to pay off, though...the paint already looks fantastic and the tuck n' roll will set it off perfectly.

Great to see this one back, I hadn't realised but I'd stolen a number of your ideas for a '60 DeSoto I've been working on. Even did virtually the same chop...
Loving that interior work.

Thanks guys. I start vacation Friday. Going to the Atlantic Nationals car show for the weekend with the Trans Am. Gonna try to get it finished up while I'm off work. I've come up with a unique solution to the wheels, I think you'll like. ,, I like anyway so,,,.

Finally got around to doing the tail lights. Just shaped from red sprue with clear backup lights from clear sprue. I've also been working on the interior but not enough progress on that for pics yet.
