Hate to be a killjoy but isn't this the Primer thread? This shouldn't be a build thread. I must agree, it is great work Joker. But let's refocus this thread please.

Agree, this is a thread to show your projects in primer.no step by step.

I got a '66 Mustang gasser that I started a few years back. Getting this finished is likely going to be a New Years resolution, . . . or something!?! David S. I made the mods to a Monogram kit I that got years ago. It's one of the 2+2 "66 Mustang kits, I open up the door handles, and added a tube straight axle from a '41 Willys, it's a 289 motor with just a few power-up goodies!! Thanks for looking . . . . . if you did that is!?! DLS

Pretty tough looking Mustang! But, the rear wheels won't fly here.....too new I'm afraid.

I don't want the Centerlines on this either! They were the closest wide rims I had for the mock-up here. I want to use some 5 hole 5 lug kidney bean cast aluminum deep rims out back!!

Gotcha! It will look cool with some Halibrands on it.

I have a old build that I want to rescue back to the bench and finish. They have a lot of "Club Racers" that compete at Road America just minutes from my house. I have not yet decided what tires and wheels to use. But it has a Corvette "Fireball Six" for a power plant! That is the reason for the hood mods you see here.

Hey David, that's a cool looking Vette! Nice touch to keep the inline 6, also gives a good look with the offside scoop.

Nice Corvette! For extra visual effect, you could swap the Monogram scoop with a modified roof scoop/pod from one the early issues of AMT's '57 Bel Air. That way you'd get a scoop to match the passenger side hood bulge. Edit - Just to illustrate my point:

Thanks Gents! Hey Chris, that's a kool idea for sure!! I was not completely sold on the scoop I picked out anyway.

The Pontiac Super Duty scoops weren't from Mack, but (Gasp!) Ford trucks. Some years ago Mark Budniewski mastered and cast a very nice version in resin, which can be seen used here on Tim Boyd's "gasserized" Revell '48 Ford Custom:
