Yep, it's interesting to see how those resin copies will turn out! I have been thinking about practising resin casting, but never ordered equipment and materials for it.
Nice save on those valve covers, too.

Time to pour some resin. I like this Micro Mark stuff.   Mixed 1:1 and poured into mold  After about 45 minutes, it turns white when cured  And popped out of the mold. Just need a little clean up and they're ready for prime, paint and Alclad!  |

I pulled this old Ford back out and started working on it again. Going to finish it this time! I decided to go with the Carson top. Paint will be dark metallic red, at least that's the plan for now.  |

Got some paint on the old Ford today. Mixed up a spritz of these two plus some Testor's thinner. Gave me the color I was looking for.  It airbrushed out nicely I think.   |

Did you mix those 2 colors or over spray? Turned out to be a great color.

Did you mix those 2 colors or over spray? Turned out to be a great color. I mix them together in a cup with the thinner, then spray with my old Paashe. I keep a little left over in a container for touch ups if needed. Thanks. |

Making a little more progress on the Ford. Finished up the interior, the Caddy mill and foiled the trim on the Carson top. The finish line is in site!   |
