Looks great Ron!
Did you modify the kit's intake manifold yourself, or is it one of Norm Weber's tri-carb intakes?
Though I generally prefer cars with a roof, the look of the '57 convertible is remarkably well balanced - Possibly due to the slanted A-pillars. Seeing your conversion really makes me wish, I had the common sense to order a few '58 cab covers, before Modelhaus stopped taking orders.

Cool project Ron! '57 Fords are one of my favorites! It looks cool to me just setting there with primer, black steelies and wide whites!

The 57 ford is always a great build to do as long as the fins stay on the car. They give it all the style IMHO. lol!

I could see this in white over red but I'm thinking light metallic green like the Tamiya rattle can colour would work really nicely.

Put the '57 back on the bench after being in the box for awhile. Just finished up most of the body work and hit it with some primer. I added a 57 T-Bird scoop to the hood and a tonneau cover from the parts box to cover the back seat. I think these slick out the look of a convertible.

Wow Ron, even the mock up in primer looks great! Thanks. It's about ready for paint, still trying to decide on a color for it.

I'm not big on convertibles either, but that tonneau cover helps a lot. I like it.

.. I might "copy" this one. I like both cover and scoop. Colour is a hard nut.. a silver-ich yellow?

Love the wheel/tire combo Ron - what are they from? Thanks. The rims are from the kit and the tires are from a recent AMT WW part pack.
