Dennis & Robert, I wish I knew as well, but I have a Monogram 1/25 59 Caddy with missing tires. One of the downsides of keeping parts in boxes separate from their kits.

If I can 1) remember to look, and 2) find my 59 Caddy, I can check to see what tires are in it.
I have some of the BFGs from the Chrysler 300, and I don't think those are very tall. I think I know where some of those are as well, and can dig them out for comparison to the Armstrongs.

Those look like the Revellogram BFG Silvertowns. The AMT ones don't have that pronounced piecrust detail, the whitewall insert doesn't fit as well, and they're not symmetrical (WW side is taller; BW side has a more pronounced sidewall bulge). Also, the inside diameter of the AMT version is too small for the standard '60s - '70s tooled AMT wheels to fit.
The R-M ones are found in the '59 Cad as noted, and also some issues of the '64/'65 Chevy pickups - I think the stepsides had those, where the fleetsides had the smaller no-name Monogram whitewalls (as in the Predicta and others).

Those definitely look like Monogram '59 Cadillac tires to me. The '57 Chrysler tires are much plumper.

The AMT '62 Catalina has them also. And the custom version has chrome reverse rims as well!

Nice update Travis! I like the U-bolt detail; and it is probably better that it wasn't engraved.....more to sand off first! LOL!

Yeah! That looks darned rakish, just what the kit windshield needs. A hinged version would be wild, but you'd have to arrange a very solid mounting pin for the stanchions to keep them square to each other and the body without the central frame holding them in place.
