That is WILD Ron! It's not easy to transform the '55 Chevy and have it look right. But, you pulled it off! What's the source of the grille?

Classic early 60s show treatment! I dig the paint color and the way all the custom parts work together. I think I see some AMT '58 chevy and '57 chevy custom parts in there? I'm not very familiar with the Monogram '55 kit. Looks like an Aurora grilles pack furnished drawer-pull grilles for the front and back, too. This model just has that "vintage" look to it that perfectly embodies TRAK. Way cool.

Dang, that came out nice. I really like the way the tinted glass color works with the interior and paint choices. The body color looks like Testors enamel, is it?
Nice job blending in the custom parts. It looks great

The center console is from the AMT '58 and the front and rear clips are from an original issue AMT '57 Chevy, widened and massaged to fit and grills are indeed from the old Aurora grill pack. I used two of them so I was glad to have those in the "yard".

Nice job blending in the custom parts. It looks great Thanks Craig, good catch there on the paint. I used an old can of Testors' 1631 Burgundy Purple Metal Flake, decanted, thinned with Testors' airbrush thinner and sprayed with my 30 year old Paasche. No clear.
