After finishing my 32 Fordor I decided to start on a Roadster Pickup, I wanted to build it as a high-boy but didn't like the rear tires almost touching the cab so I stretched the chassis enough to center the wheels in the shortened `34 Ford pickup box. I narrowed the rear spring and trailing arms from a Revell `40 Ford and used the 9in rear axle from the Revell `32 along with some evergreen strip styrene and ended up with what is shown.

Looks a million times better with the wheelbase stretched! It looks correct now. Good stance and wheel/tire choice, too.

Been working on this one all day, got the color coat on it, just need to make myself let it cure before clear coat, had to set it together for a mock-up !!

Daaang. Love that color combo so much!! And as others have mentioned, the stretched wheelbase balances the proportions in a very pleasing way. It has that AMBR look!

I like the color choices; and really like the color you chose for the uptop! I can't way to see it done! If you want to send me some photos when it's finished I'll even post them to my FB business page. I plain background would work out better and showcase your work more than the diorama garage background drawing your eye away if you are up to it.

Nice color choices! I'd be tempted to the leave the body paint in a satin finish.

To Late already has clear coat, with it in satin finish it looks way to olive drab !!

This is a great looking piece of work. I'll make a space for it on my shelf. Gary

Looks a million times better with the wheelbase stretched! It looks correct now. Good stance and wheel/tire choice, too. Ditto!! What color is the color coat, I like it. (I have a couple of Vallejo military flat colors that I want to try out on a model A or Deuce with a clear coat over them). Those meant to be flat colors look interesting with a clear coat in an understated kind of way that leaves the viewer wondering where they've seen that color before.
