Nope not in real life either, you could probably fit an elephant in there, not the motor kind either! My brother’s’53 has a six in it, you think that Hemi looks lonely in there, that six looks downright tiny, and performs just about as tiny as it looks! If there is one good point about my brother’s’53 is that you can crawl right in there and work on it and still have room for someone else to crawl in and help!

I had a '56, came with a 292 Y block and put in a 500 Caddy, it actually looked smaller then the Y block.

Opened the top of the rear glass up so the openings height wasn't lower than the door glass openings, about 3/32". I also revised the hoods top and front to give it a smoother the side profile. Paul

Raising the top of the rear window looks better. Never would have thought of that. I keep looking at the latest hood photo and I don't see what has changed. Looks good though.

The changes on the hood is that the peak was flattened and the curve from the top down to the grill area is more rounded and flared. Meant to be a very subtle mod like the rear window make the top chop some what unnoticeable. Paul

First paint. Needs to gas out, wet sanded and cleared. Typical black, already looks dusty.
