I was inspired by the model on the cover of Scale Auto Feb. 2003 and to my surprise I have most of the parts that are listed as used in the build. So this is where it's at now. A fairly quick build so far, just trying keep it clean and simple.

Richard, Those old T & A Roadsters are pretty cool. Love the old speedy parts "in action" again, as much as I like the 50's and 60's Hot Rods and Race Cars my favorite still has to be the "original era Hot Rods".
You've really got something cool started there! What's going to follow the body, pick-up bed, turtle deck, fuel tank? Hopefully you'll keep us up to date on your progress, I'm interested in seeing how this one plays out. Thanks For Sharing!

just love it when a plan comes together! Me too. I was quite surprised to find out that I had all these parts lying around. I should clean house more often.

I'm really enjoying this build you know digging deep through the parts boxes and finding stuff I forgot I had. It's getting a covered short box and a cool little bench seat and maybe a roll bar. I will update as progress develops.

This is a 1937 photo of a pair of GOW Jobs. We would call them hot rods.

I just realized that I posted this in the 12 years old and younger category. Although I'm 12 years old on the inside I passed that age over 40 years ago. Can this thread be moved over to the What's on the bench forum? Or maybe the Old guy with poor computer skills forum?

Thanks. I'll get my kids to double check my work before I hand it in next time.

Looking forward to more. If you can find more stuff in your parts box I really like that fuel tank behind the body in Paul's picture.

Seeing that T-Roadster makes me want to drag my "Multi Aldrich" inspired '25 Roadster off of the shelf of doom, (actually in the model curio cabinet). Come to think of it, I better because it's almost complete as is. I think I was trying to find some parts for it and forgot what I was looking for, so now do I really need them to finish it anyway... LoL! OK, OK, I will drag it on out as soon as I finish postin'...
