well guys, i have never been able to throw something like this together in less than a few months, so this might be slow. i am very critical and picky of how things look so it takes me longer. if it looks good to me then i am good to go ;D i have the windsheild test fitted so i can see how well the frame lines up. i will have to "spread" it out a little. what will happen is i am going to set a pot of boiling water on the stove and dip the roof in for a couple seconds , pull it out and run cold water right over it while putting pressure on the pillars until they stay in place.....easier than it sounds. By all means take your time. The more time you spend on it now the less filling and sanding you will have to do later. My suggesting for the pillars is to make a small pie cut. Heating it up might mess up the plastic but I dont really know. If it does work though let us know it might be a good techique to try out.

Cool i might have to try that then. Sounds like a lot less work then cuttin reliefs in the plastic and then reinforcing it from the back with styrene.

Sounds like a lot less work then cuttin reliefs in the plastic and then reinforcing it from the back with styrene. yeah well it depends on how you do it. the way i am doing it allowed me to only cut the roof once from B pilar to B pilar. if you want to move the trunk lid forward it's best this way IMHO.

i feel compelled to straighten out any confusion on this lol i found an extensive in progress thread on HAMB board with photos that left no question how to do what i am doing. i thought you all should know, this is not some retarded move on my part, it's been done this way on real cars too. remember....kustom can't be wrong.
