No problems so far - I guess the only way you can make the Revell Merc unsuitable for this place, using only what's included in the kit, is by giving it a prismatic-, neon- or easteregg-paintjob...

I wonder about these tubular connectors from the frame to the firewall?? The kit is Johan 60 Plym Wagon and the donator is Revell 67 GTX. Hosted on FotkiThanks.

Try renaming the photo to hotrodpic1 or something. All of those letters are causing the problem....way too long of a file name. btw, the wheels won't fly...but that's a neat build!

Wish I could rename it, but my photos are on Microsoft's skydrive and get named automatically by their server. I may have to host it somewhere else to post pics I purposely cropped the photo to cut off the rear tire. The tires and wheels are from the Revell 67 Chevelle pro street kit and I knew the big rear tires would be a no no around here. I wasn't sure about the wheels. Now I know. Thanks

I opened a Fotki account a while back, but started putting most of my stuff on the MS skydrive. I may have to reconsider.
As of now, I plan on getting up there for your show as long as my better half doesn't whack me over the head. Steve Barnes(green El Camino) will probably ride up with me.

After reading all these posts it brought up a couple questions. Not that I'm planning on building a Muscle car, but what about say a 68 Camaro? Obviously a Gasser would work but what about a stocker or Modified stock ( or a Chevelle etc.). The stocker would be stock although by 68 alot of the rules were relaxed so headers and cams etc would be accepted at that time. Either way technically it's a vintage drag car. Purhaps it would be acceptable but nobody would want to see it.

We had a few early-sixties superstockers posted some time ago, but in most cases musclecars won't meet the forum rules, as they'll either be too close to stock or borderline street machines... Not saying it can't be done, but It's damn hard without fitting a straight front axle and poking injector stacks through the hood...
