VERY NICE Steve! i have one question.....how the hell did you hold the camera and do that? oh and another question.... how long did it take you to lay the roof down? not including sanding and filling yet to come. Hee hee! I guess it took a few hours, maybe 4?? I can't really say for sure because I did a little each night. Marked out & scribed the cuts one night, cut a few the next, & glued things back together later. Steve ok well it looks like a lot of work and it's so clean looking i want to try it sometime, thanks for the in progress pics!

Yeah, Tom... the Hirohata is seafoam and dark green with Buick trim and the hand-made hardtop quarter windows. I figured that name would bring an immediate image to all you traditional guys. Guess my age is showing. Shut up, George... I can hear your thoughts! No, now I am showin' MY AGE! I could remember the colors, just not the distinct Kustom treatments! Man, how in the world do ya' forget THAT!? I grew up droolin' over the H-merc, so it kinda hurts the pride a little when you can't remeber somethin' like that! Must have been to much glue fumes from waaaaaaaay back, (or somethin'.....)

This thing had me thinking "Sam Barris" from the second I saw it. I could see this in a maroon or a deep green more than a Hirohata- style two-tone. Probably the nicest chopped top I've seen in scale!
