the wheels and tires are from the '32 roadster kit. i stripped the chrome and the brown lacquer stuff and painted them with metalizer. i finally got to use one of the skulls from the Hot Wheels car for a shifter knob in this one too. EAST COAST!!!!!!!! Dave

Cool! Love the flathead! Where did you get the blower and heads?
When you mentioned the skull shifter I went back for a second look... Its like a ghost in there! Love it!

the blower is from Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland and is very nice. the heads are from Model Car Garage. i was going to use the Eddie Meyer heads i had, but the front water outlets were a problem. even now with the center outlets there is still a little bit of a fit issue, but workable. this is only the second flathead that i have built, the first had the Ardun heads on it, so it was a bit different. there is more in my future though! This is amazing. The stance is perfect, and those '32 wheels look so much better without the chrome. Great work on that SCOT flattie- I might have to pick up one of those blowers. I see what you mean about the fit problem with the Eddie Meyer heads, but you might still have an issue coming up with the water hoses running around the blower belts and connecting to the chopped radiator. Can't wait to see your progress!

i have an idea for how to run those radiator hoses, should work out nicely. i really wanted to use the Eddie Meyer heads, but short of putting them on backwards they just werent going to work. the heads from the Model Car Garage are a little bit too big for almost every flathead block i have tried them on, but they do have really nice engraving.
