Made good progress last night and today so far. Chassis is lengthened, stance set, hood opened and a 421" motor sittin' in the bay. The best part about usin' the center of the AMT '58 Impala wuz havin' the custom front and rear pans that fit without much work. Now, all I gotta do is make a spot for the rear plate and see if a '59 Chevy rear bumper will fit.

from where come those hubcaps??? Bought 'em from Okie Spaulding at a show... optional caps from the '59 Rambler wagon. I might post more shots later. Rear bumper is done and most of the finishing is done around the grille/front pan. Gotta finish reshaping the Chevy doors to match the Pontiac fender contour then build chrome strips. Got some inner fender panel finishing to do under the hood.

Holy s :-Xt!!! What a cool bumper/grille setup - I LOVE the floating rear bumper and the way you've combined the kit's grille moulding and the De Soto Grille bar!!!
