i started building another '32 Ford sedan last night. while i was working on my channeled fenderless version i thought why not build a full fendered version too. this one will have more of a 60's vibe to it, with a drag influenced look. dual quad Buick nailhead for power that fits under the stock hood. it's the one out of the AMT Riviera kit, the earlier one that also comes as a lowrider version. i'm not sure of the year, but it is very nicely detailed. i trimmed the trans mount a little and made some new engine mounts to get it up where it should be. it's a nice fit in the '32 frame. Dave

Nice! I do love Nailheads and this one is no different! This one should look good in one of those new Testors lacquers. I can't help but notice in the second pic how the background looks like a styrene boneyard. I know it's probably the "to do" pile, but for heaven's sake, use a backdrop so us ADD guys don't wander too much!!! ;D LOL

i have been painting parts of this thing all day so far! hopefully i can get nearly everything sprayed that needs to be and be able to do some assembling. i'm hoping this one goes easy since it's nearly all out of the box. just an engine swap and a few other parts from "other" places! Dave

the front rims are resin from Competition resins with tires from the '31 model A sedan kit. i'm also using the front axle from that kit as well. Dave

heres the built nailhead, it turned out pretty nice. also a pic of the rims and tires. the front ones will still get a bit more detailing, but the rear ones are done. Dave
