Not tryin' to piss in your Cheerios here but, from the earliest pictures, something about the roofline has bothered me... like the windshield header is trying to balance on top of the posts, rather than be attached to them and the rear doesn't match up to the rest of the body quite right. Aside from the roof issues, I really like this build. I agree with Hoodlum, too... the jet spears look a little bulky and need to lay flatter against the sides. Just sand the backs a bit and they'll be fine.

Like the way the interior came together. I was hoping you could pull off those console pieces... would have made a great package. Everything about these early to mid-'60s Fords said "rocket ship"... you've put the right parts together to keep that interior theme going.

This is coming along nicely, Ron! Love the knockoffs and what you've done with the interior. Cool how using the '64 XL interior,'64 Marauder dash, with the '62 body and the Starliner roof has kept it all in the family. This car could be easily replicated in 1/1 if ones pockets were deep enough to gather all the components.

I half expect George Jetson to jump in that interior bucket and fly off!

Yeah, something about the roof just ain't quite right to me either but I'm committed. It's all epoxied together so I'll live with it. I sanded down those spears quite a bit. I just mocked it up with the interior in it and the mags with the spinners. I like it.

Looking good, Ron. Your bodywork is always so clean. Especially like those wheels and tires, too! Looking at the side spear though I couldn't resist extending it into the door in Photoshop, with and without the Buck Rogers ray gun tip. To my eye anyway, it seems to "speed up the flow" a bit, and am surprised that with the ray gun tip it reminds me of a Squarebird (in a good way!) Anyway, just a suggestion. Feel free to tell me to keep my spoon out of your Cheerios! Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Thanks all and John, thanks for doing the PS work. Wish I had seen that before I glued the spears on! Both choices look good. Getting down to the paint phase now. Today I did the roof. I chose this silvery pearl nail polish color I had, airbrushed on. I'll follow this up with clear that has some pearl powder added. And after a few coats of clear with a dab of Pearl Ex silver powder added. I like the effect.
