I believe that Grumpy used one of these on his '67 Camaro 396 so would there be any kits or aftermarket places that would have something like it? I believe it's a Holley 3910. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hmmm, maybe this is too new for this site but I did find this resin cast of a Holley carb that's pretty close so I guess I'll use it and try to make it look like the one in the picture.

Ok, finally was able to get back to work on the WIP instead of casting parts for it. Here's a few pics of what I got done so far. The pics of the hood show the slots I cut out and the other shows the inserts I made for it. Here's the distributor I scratch built and wired plus a shot of what's done to the engine so far.

Hmmm, quadruple post. Hope you guys don't get mad at me. Ok, according to what I've learned form another site, the kit that I am working with is completely wrong and has to be modified.so I started the body work. Here are the pics of what I've done so far and I hope it's right. I haven't finished it completely as you'll see but let me know if I'm on the right track for those of you who are in the know. Rear window chrome was raised here and had to cut it down There was no chrome under the side windows so I cut it out This here was really raised for chrome or something but it had to go. I think I mentioned before somewhere that I can't wait to work on a kit that is "right" but I don't know if there is such a beast

Thanks for the comments guys. I was getting worried that I was posting too much or no one liked what I was doing. Anyway, here's yet another update on the body. I took out the chrome strip that AMT added on the bottom of the windows that the 1:1 did not have. Here's a couple shots showing the before and after. The red shows what I cut off.

While waiting for some primer to dry I decided to work on the carburetor that Grumpy had made because he said Holley did not make anything he could use. I don't have the exact ones he used so I need to do a bit of work and I hope I can get it close. Here's the progress so far. I included the 1:1 carb that RodBurner posted on my other thread. The Grumps Carb Two carbs cut in half Two halves together. Now the fine work comes in.

Here's another small modification but I think needed to the body. I noticed when looking at a 1:1 pic that there were panel lines on the rear deck by the trunk that the model didn't have sooooooo.

Ok, I wanted to wait until I was done with it but I couldn't resist not showing what I've done so far on the carb. So without further ado, here's what I've got so far. Put on dremel to reduce the diameter of the washer How much I took off On the carb Shaped and cut off housing from brass stock The housing On the carb Another angle showing the v-cut Got a lot more to do but it's getting there
