Wow! I finally got something done! Here's Da Grump all finished up. I did my best but I'm no master at people. I don't know why but for some reason flat paints still come out glossy for me for some reason. Maybe I can get the wife to do some makeup work on him for me.

I'll glue them on once he's in the seat and the hands are on the steering wheel and shifter. That way I'll get them on correctly around the wheel.

hopefully his thumbs aren't up his nose or up his a**. What flat paints did you use? I've found that the Delta Ceramcoat paints sold at Pat Catan's and Michaels are cheap, brush easily and are flat.

I used Testors bottle paint and brushed it on.

Got the carb mounted and some linkage installed which actually works! I don't know why but maybe it's the metal flakes in the paint that makes everything look sort of grainy when the light hits it at certain angles. Here's a couple pics of what I've got so far, still have a lot more stuff to add though.
